>>	PPI Producer Price Index (WP) ( BLS ftp wp ) PPI is a measure of prices for goods sold in primary markets in the USA. It refers to an entire family or system of indexes, not prices received by wholesalers, jobbers or distributors. The PPI covers manufactured and processed goods, gas and electricity outputs, and goods competitive with those made in the manufacturing sector, such as waste and scrap materials.
